AV-8B Harrier II.
Zakladam tento chlivecek a pridavam dve fotky USMC Harrier z Afghanu. Zajimavosti je podveseny elektronicky kontejner. Jedna se o novinku Interpid Tiger II. Coz je rusici a komunikacni kontejner (obdobny nosi na konci kridel i Growler). Tento podves se v soucasnosti testuje v boji.

Já přiložím pár foteček z japonské MCAS Iwakuni (od června tam jsou v rámci UDP-Unit Deployment Program). Stroj 165312 WH-01 od WMA-542 Flying Tigers v poslední variantě kamo a řádnou antikamo:

"A Harrier pilot realizes his gear won't extend.....SOP dictates activating the backup safety nitrogen bottle to blow the gear down. Unfortunately for the pilot and plane, a higher ranking officer ordered him not to follow standard operating procedure, and instead had a stack of strapped mattresses placed in the centre of the active. Aside from the damage to the airframe.....the mattresses suffered an un-contained failure and sent a shower of metal springs and coils through the engine turbine blades."
